Nick Marsan is a public safety professional and veteran, serving the Westport Fire Department since 2007. He is a state-certified Fire Marshal and EMT, and nationally certified as a Fire Service Instructor III and Fire Officer III. His career includes assignments as a Lieutenant and Fire Inspector, and 10 years as the Union President of Westport Uniformed Firefighters Local 1081. Marsan holds two Master's degrees in History and Public Administration/Emergency Management,. A veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard, he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2010.
