Dr. Donnie Hutchinson is the Professor of Work-Life Balance for First Responders. He is an Army National Guard veteran, author, speaker, professor, podcaster, and a Work-Life Balance instructor who works with firefighters, law enforcement officers, and other first responders on self-care and work-life balance programs to improve their success at home, work, and in roles in life.
Dr. Donnie serves as an instructor for FDIC, IAFC, and the IAFF. He has a national presence with his work-life balance work delivering workshops for the past six years at the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF/ALTS) annual conferences. Dr. Donnie is an active and proud father of four children and resides in Palm Coast, Florida, with his wife Marlene. His son, a U.S. Army combat veteran, is a full-time firefighter.
